Chelsea are looking to sell the German international Timo Werner after a disappointing season to raise funds for their other attacking targets.

The former RB Leipzig striker was signed to spearhead the Chelsea attack last season, but he has been quite mediocre, and the Blues are now looking to move him on after just one season.

Chelsea are looking to bring in either Erling Haaland or Harry Kane this summer, and they will need to raise funds to complete a big-money move.

Erling Haaland has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund in recent weeks. Still, the German club remain adamant that the 20-year-old Norwegian will not be sold this summer, and his suitors will have to wait until the summer of 2022.

Haaland scored 40 goals in the league last season, and he is reportedly valued at £150 million.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane is thought to be keen on a move away from Tottenham because they failed to win trophies in recent seasons. The 27-year-old England international could prove to be a stunning addition to Thomas Tuchel‘s attack.

Kane was the top scorer in the Premier League last season and he picked up the most number of assists. He would be a massive upgrade on Werner, and it will be interesting to see how the situation develops over the next few days.

Werner will be hoping to prove himself in the Premier League next season, and it remains to be seen whether the Blues are willing to give him another opportunity.

The 25-year-old scored just six goals in the Premier League last season after a £48 million move from the Bundesliga.
