Manchester United have been persistent in signing the English winger this summer.

Borussia Dortmund have set their final transfer fee around £77m for Jadon Sancho, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United.

The Red Devils, who are keen on the transfer of the 21-year-old this summer, had submitted an opening bid of £75m, to which Dortmund have reportedly responded that they need around £77m plus bonuses.

Both Sancho and United are said to have agreed over personal terms, with Dortmund waiting to finalise the transfer fee.

The report also adds that the Bundesliga outfit wants Man Utd to resolve the situation before pre-season.

The English winger is currently focused on getting minutes with the national team as Gareth Southgate has overlooked him in the two of the group stage games thus far.

Southgate also explained that the current English attack is stacked, and hence Sancho is deprived of playing time. Still, there are big chances for the former Manchester City star to feature predominantly as the campaign wears on.

Sancho has been phenomenal for Dortmund over the last two seasons, racking up goals and assists in double figures.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have long been linked with the English youngster and even came close to his acquisition last summer before the talks fell through due to Dortmund’s unreal asking price.

Now, the German giants are ready to sell their prized asset this summer, with United looking to get the deal over the line.

The Red Devils will be starting fresh next season after failing to win any major trophies this term. Sancho would breathe the fresh air to their attack, and United would try to end their trophy drought with his arrival.
