The club has witnessed some of the best managers in the history of football. Sir Matt Busby started his career as a rookie but took United to its highest glory at that time. Manchester United became the first English club to represent in European Tournament in 1957.
No manager came close to replicating Busby’s success after he left in1969 before Sir Alex Ferguson arrived in 1986. At Old Trafford, Ferguson built a dynasty, winning 13 Premier League titles and two Champions League titles.
Following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was named Interim Manager until the end of the season.
