EPL transfer Rumours: Odegaard loan move to Arsenal, Dembele to Man United, Liverpool’s interest in Upamecano

Premier League spot up for grabs on Championship final day

Odegaard sets his sights on Arsenal

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Real Madrid youngster Martin Odegaard on a season-long loan while also agreeing to pay his salary.

Odegaard’s transfer links intensified following his decision to leave Bernabeu to get regular game time.

The Norwegian midfielder has struggled to etch his place under Zinedine Zidane in the starting line-up this season despite his stellar loan stint at Real Sociedad.

Mikel Arteta also looks keen to get the deal done as his side are currently in need of reinforcements.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Norwegian can be a success at Emirates Stadium.

Dembele to Man United

Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has been fairly decent this season after dealing with a worse injury-record in the seasons prior.

Although the Frenchman looks more fitter than ever, the Catalans haven’t abandoned the idea of selling him.

In that case, Barca have to cash in on him before his contract expires in 2022 as they don’t want to see their winger leave for free.

Manchester United are said to be still in the race for the French youngster, having failed with their first attempt in the summer.

Upamecano on Liverpool’s radar

Liverpool have been heavily linked with RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano as they seek more reinforcements in the defence following injuries to Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez.

The Reds missed the presence of Van Dijk for the most of this season, one of the reasons for their inconsistency in the Premier League this term.

Besides Liverpool, heavyweights like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Man Utd and Tottenham are also credited with an interest in the French centre-back.
