With the draw against Manchester United, Liverpool could not equal, Manchester City’s record of 18 successive wins between August’17 to December’17. It also missed equaling Chelsea’s record of winning the first nine games in a row in the Premier League. It can be remembered that Liverpool lost points last time, to Everton on 3rd March this year.
7. A Big Relief for Ole
Before the game, the rumour was that Ole could be sacked in case Manchester United lose the game with some decent margin. Every TV experience has given his verdict. Manchester United was predicted to lose 0-2, 0-3 or 0-4. But in reality, Manchester United were winning till 85th minute of the match.
Before the match started, Ole got support from Eastwood. Now with the draw and moral victory, he is safe for another couple of weeks, if not months.
