While the Catalan giants perceive Fati as the successor to Lionel Messi‘s throne at Camp Nou, Manchester City still eyed him to lead Pep Guardiola’s attack-line for years to come.
Despite City’s apparent interest, Fati stays put in Barcelona for the time being and is expected to sign an extension with his current side. To the fans’ relief, the 18-year-old wonderkid decided to continue with his boyhood club, following lengthy discussions with super-agent Mendes. Fati’s commitment and brilliance were recently awarded, with Barcelona allotting the No.10 jersey to the Spaniard.
