Manchester City are hoping to submit a new contract offer for Kevin de Bruyne.

Apparently the Belgian retreated rejected the club’s initial offer and was frustrated because of the slow pace of negotiations.

According to reports the Premier League club have now returned with the proposal which is set to be more agreeable for the player.

It will be interesting to see if both parties can finalise the agreement before the end of the season now.

The Belgian is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world and City must do everything in their power to hold on to him.

Pulisic future

Meanwhile Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has dropped down the pecking order this season and the American has been linked with the likes of Liverpool.

Before his move to Stamford Bridge, the winger was on the radar of Jurgen Klopp and it will be interesting to see if the Reds make a move to sign in at the end of the season.

Pulisic is a highly talented player who needs to play regularly and if Chelsea cannot provide him with the necessary game time he will be angling for a move away from the London club.

Hakimi to Arsenal?

Finally Arsenal are keeping tabs on the Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi.

Hector Bellerin has been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain and the Gunners will need to bring in a quality right-back replacement in the summer.

Hakimi has highly talented and he would be a sensational long term signing for Arsenal if they manage to pull it off.

Inter Milan are going through a financial crisis right now and it will be interesting to see if the Gunners can make the most of that opportunity and snap up the former Borussia Dortmund defender.
