The young duo shone in Arsenal’s emphatic win against Leeds United at Elland Road.

Arsenal cruised to a 4-1 win against Leeds United in the Premier League last night, which marked their third win in a row.

The victory at Elland Road also saw the Gunners climb up to fourth place in the league table. They are currently separated from leaders Manchester City by nine points.

Following the back to back defeats against Manchester United and Everton, the North Londoners have bounced back with the victories against Southampton, West Ham and Leeds.

Brazilian striker Gabriel Martinelli has contributed a lot to the club’s success in recent weeks and he was also the standout performer against Leeds last night.

The 20-year-old built on his impressive display against the Hammers and scored a stunning brace last night. He has racked up 4 goals and 2 assists so far, bettering last season’s tally.

Alongside him, Bukayo Saka was at his usual best, scoring the Gunners’ third goal right before halftime.

In the absence of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang – who was stripped of the captaincy due to disciplinary breach, Alexandre Lacazette has fared well in recent weeks.

The French striker is functioning at his best and it can be attributed to the excellence of Saka and Martinelli.

The young duo has also taken the goalscoring onus, which has reduced the burden of Lacazette.

Mikel Arteta looks to have found the right formula in the attack and the Spanish manager will look to continue the revival in the upcoming games.
