West Ham United complete the £30m signing of Nayef Aguerd

David Moyes-West Ham United

West Ham United have agreed on a deal to sign the Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd from Rennes.

The Londoners have confirmed the £30m transfer on their official website, and it will be interesting to see whether the Frenchman can settle in quickly and make an immediate impact.

The Hammers have improved significantly since the arrival of David Moyes. Still, they failed to push for the Champions League qualification last year because of their lack of depth and defensive vulnerabilities.

They certainly have the quality to push for European qualification. It will be interesting to see whether they can bring in a reliable goal scorer before the transfer window closes.

West Ham have a talented squad at their disposal, and they can certainly challenge the top guns next season if they can retain their key players and bring in a couple of wise additions.

Aguerd has been an important player in the French league, and has the potential to succeed in the Premier League.

The defender will be hoping to make his mark in English football and establish himself as a key player for Moyes and West Ham.

The 26-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Hammers, and the fans will be excited to see their new signing in action soon.

Aguerd is at the peak of his powers right now, and it remains to be seen whether he can transform West Ham’s backline alongside Diop and Ogbonna next season.
