PSG hoping to announce Neymar contract extension before Manchester City clash

PSG agreed conditionally on Neymar return to Barcelona

Paris Saint Germain superstar Neymar has recently hinted that he is happy at the French club and he could sign a new deal with them.

According to the latest reports, the French club are now hoping to finalise an agreement with the Brazilian soon and they are looking to announce the contract extension before PSG’s Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.

The new deal would keep the Brazilian at PSG until the summer of 2027.

The Ligue 1 outfit managed to reach the Champions League finals last year but they were beaten by Bayern Munich.

The French outfit have managed to eliminate the German side in the quarter-finals and they will now fancy their chances of going all the way in the competition this year.

Both Neymar and Mbappe were linked with moves away from PSG earlier in the season and it will be interesting to see if the French outfit can hold onto Mbappe beyond this season as well.

The French outfit will look to dominate Europe in the coming years and they must hold on to quality players like Neymar and Mbappe.

The Brazilian’s decision to commit his long term future to PSG just ahead of the crucial semi-final games could come as a huge morale boost to the whole club.

Neymar was exceptional against Bayern Munich despite failing to score a goal and he will be hoping to celebrate his new contract with a win over Manchester City in the next round of the competition.
