Pochettino addresses Ramos transfer speculations

Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has been heavily linked with a move to PSG as his contract at the Spanish capital club expires this summer.

However, Les Parisiens boss Mauricio Pochettino refused to comment when he was asked about the Spaniard’s potential move to Parc des Princes.

Pochettino said: “Sergio Ramos to PSG? I’m not going to answer because everything can be misinterpreted … Sergio is a Real Madrid player.

“But what I can say is that, like any team, we want to improve in all positions.”

Ramos, 33, is said to be seeking a contract extension with higher wages; however, the Madrid hierarchy is having second thoughts about it.

There is a big possibility that the Spanish centre-back could bid farewell to his long-time club this summer, with PSG posing as the only potential suitors.

Neymar dreams of playing with Cristiano Ronaldo

PSG ace Neymar has recently stated his desire to play with Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Brazilian star had recently penned a new contract until 2025, thus committing his future to the French capital club.

Elsewhere, Ronaldo’s future is the subject of much debate as reports are stating that the Portuguese could leave Turin this summer if Juve fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Having played with top players like Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe in his career, Ronaldo is the only name missing in his repertoire.

Neymar said: “I want to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. I’ve already played with great players like Messi and [Kylian] Mbappe, but I haven’t played with Cristiano Ronaldo yet.”

Perhaps, Ronaldo’s name has been often linked with PSG, and it will be exciting to see both Neymar and Ronaldo – who both share the same birthday dates – in the same line-up.
