The Barcelona striker has been linked with a move to Turin.
Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo has said that the chances are lesser for Luis Suarez to join the club.
The Uruguayan has been a top target for Juventus after being told that he is not in the plans of Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman.
However, Pirlo said,
‘Suarez is difficult because the times to get a passport are long, it is complicated that [our new striker] can be him.’
The Old Lady are limited to bring any new non-EU player, having already signed Arthur Melo and Weston Mckennie in the summer transfer window.
Furthermore, Suarez was requested to pass the Italian language test to obtain dual nationality in order to make his transfer possible.
Despite the former Liverpool striker passing the exam – now waiting for the passport, Juve would still miss out on him.
Meanwhile, the Bianconeri have reportedly agreed terms with Edin Dzeko to become the new striker of the club. Juve have agreed a deal worth 15m pounds for the signing of the former Manchester City man.
Earlier, Pirlo insisted the need for a new striker, with Juve beginning their title defence against Sampdoria.
Elsewhere, Suarez has been approached by Barcelona’s fellow La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid over a transfer move. Diego Simeone is keen on signing the Uruguayan striker to bolster his attacking options.
Suarez’s form has declined over the last two seasons, yet he can deliver his best for Rojiblancos.
