Andre Onano reveals his desire to return to Barcelona

Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana has revealed his desire to return to Barcelona, with his current contract expiring next summer.

The Cameroonian shot-stopper is poised to leave Ajax on a free transfer at the end of this season, with Arsenal and Inter Milan reportedly keeping tabs on him.

Onana was an academy graduate of Barca before he moved to Ajax, where he has established himself as one of the best young keepers.

The 25-year-old has opened the door for a potential return to the Nou Camp, stating that Barca would be his first choice.

Onana said (h/t Barca Blaugranes): “I continue to be in contact with Barça. I have a very, very good relationship since I left. Barça is my home. and there has always been contact.”

Atletico eyeing swoop for Martial

Atletico Madrid have entered the race for Manchester United striker Anthony Martial, who has been heavily linked with an exit in January.

According to Sport Bible, the La Liga champions are considering a swap deal involving Kieran Trippier to sign the French forward.

Trippier had been linked with a move to Old Trafford during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign.

Martial is also said to be wanted by fellow rivals Barcelona and Ligue 1 duo PSG and Lyon.

Real Madrid change their stance on Mbappe

Real Madrid have reportedly decided to delay their negotiations with PSG over the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

It was reported earlier that Los Blancos were keen on striking a pre-agreement with the French superstar in January, with his contract expiring next summer.

However, they have now halted their plans after being drawn against Les Parisiens in the round of 16 in the Champions League.

It is also added that Mbappe would not negotiate with the Spanish giants before the knockouts in February.
