Arsenal Transfer: Decision on Guendouzi future, Odegaard impact questioned

Arsenal took decision on Guendouzi future

Arsenal have informed Matteo Guendouzi that he has no future at the London club and he will be sold in the summer for a fee of around £25 million.

The Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order at the London club and he is currently out on loan.

Apparently Arteta was unhappy with his attitude while he was at the club and the Spaniard is not keen on giving the young midfielder another chance next season.

Martin Odegaard contribution

Arsenal signed the Real Madrid playmaker Martin Odegaard in January in order to add some creativity to the side and Nigel Winterburn has claimed that the 22-year-old has not done enough for the Gunners so far.

The Norwegian midfielder has made 8 appearances in all competitions for the London club and it will be interesting if the Premier League side decides to make a move to sign him permanently at the end of this season.

Odegaard has not had enough chances at Real Madrid and he will be hoping to sort out his long term future soon.

Winterburn: “At the moment, no he hasn’t. Ian Wright was saying he reminds him of Gascoigne, he doesn’t remind me of Gascoigne. For a young-ish player who hasn’t played a lot of football to come into your club, I think at the moment I’m sitting on the fence, but I see the potential there.”
