Cristiano Ronaldo could leave Manchester United if the crisis continues.

Marca reports that Cristiano Ronaldo would consider leaving Manchester United should the Red Devils fail to qualify for the Champions League.

The 36-year-old sealed a sensational return to Old Trafford in the summer however he has found himself in the middle of a deep crisis this season.

The Red Devils have made a disastrous start to this season, with their chances of lifting a silverware looking bleak.

Ronaldo had previously stated that he returned to Man Utd only to win trophies and he could force an exit should the crisis continue.

The Portuguese international has been the saving grace for an otherwise lacklustre United squad this season, racking up 9 goals in 12 games.

Sancho set for a new role under Solskjaer

Jadon Sancho has so far endured a disappointing spell at Man Utd following his big-money move from Dortmund in the summer.

The English attacker has failed to register a goal or assist in 12 games this season while completing 90 minutes only on one occasion.

According to Give Me Sport, Sancho could be switched to the right-wing back position in place of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Wan-Bissaka’s lack of attacking intent as a wing-back has been criticised in recent weeks and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now thinking about bringing in a change.

The 21-year-old operated on both flanks as a winger at Dortmund and the Norwegian manager wants to make full use of his versatility.

As a wing-back, Sancho would never be able to showcase his attacking and creative nature, and the decision would also be a stumbling block for his development.
