Cristiano Ronaldo to join Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain?

Ballon d'Or Leak - Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Virgil van Dijk are top contenders

The Manchester United MVP is reported to leave Old Trafford this summer. Cristiano Ronaldo is being linked to Paris Saint-Germain to join Lionel Messi

Manchester United signed Ronaldo’s signature for just £13 million, but believes his salary is on an eye-watering £500,000-a-week contract.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have never played in the same team. If the rumoured story becomes a reality, two great stars of this generation, will surely make a remarkable history not just in Ligue 1 but in the whole football game.

It looks like the club are aware of the fan-following and business that these two bring together, but not convinced with on-field effectiveness.

Chelsea and Bayern Munich are exploring the possibility of signing Ronaldo when the time comes.

However, Bayern Munich’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is not giving high hopes for the possibility yet. He said Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, had informed the Bundesliga giants of his client’s situation.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a top player with an outstanding career,” Salihamidzic told Sky Germany. “However, the rumour that is circulating is a rumour that has no truth in it.”

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in 37 goals last term, dragging the Red Devils to sixth place in what went down as their worst-ever Premier League campaign.

Man Utd will compete in the Europa League next season under new manager Erik ten Hag

Despite all rumours, Ronaldo is looking forward to being the new manager. Hoping for a turning point for the team next season.

“I know he did a fantastic job for Ajax and that he’s an experienced coach but we need to give him time. Things need to change the way he wants. I hope we have success, of course. Because if you have success all of Manchester is going to have success as well so I wish him the best.”

Meanwhile, speaking to Sky Sports, Lisandro Martinez pleaded with Ajax to grant him his wish to move to the Premier League with Arsenal and Manchester United locked in a two-way battle for his signature.
