Michy Batshuayi could be heading to Crystal Palace after new Chelsea deal

Sheffield 3-0 Chelsea Chelsea's Champions league hopes in doubt

Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi has been linked with a move away from the club this summer and it seems that he could be heading to Crystal Palace.

The Belgian striker is not a key member of Chelsea’s first team squad and he will be allowed to leave in search of regular first team football.

It is expected that the striker will sign a new deal with the club before moving away on loan this summer.

There is no doubt that Palace need to improve their attacking options this summer and Batshuayi could prove to be a quality addition to their attack.

The Belgian needs to play regularly at this stage of his career and a move to Selhurst Park would allow him to regain his form and sharpness.

If he manages to impress during his loan spell at Crystal Palace, but sure I may be able to bag a permanent move to the London club next summer.

It is evident that he has no future at Chelsea and it would be better for him to move on permanently.

A permanent exit would allow him to sort out his long term future and fully concentrate on his football.

Batshuayi joined the Blues with a lot of expectations from Marseille but he has failed to hold down a regular starting berth at Stamford Bridge.

It remains to be seen if he can convince Frank Lampard to give him another chance at the club in future.
