West Ham United

West Ham will look to get back to winning ways this weekend when they welcome Norwich to their home stadium.

After their famous win against Chelsea, the Hammers have now gone without a win in the games that followed. Their last outing saw them lose 2-0 to Arsenal, thanks to goals from Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli and Emile Smith-Rowe. They were also reduced to ten men in that game as Vladimir Coufal was sent off for two bookable offences in the game, compounding their defensive misery further.

The result pushed them outside of the top four into fifth place. With Man United and Tottenham with games in hand, David Moyes’ side are in danger of dropping further down if they don’t return to the form that originally put them into the top four.

The Scotsman will be desperate for his side to put their disappointing loss behind them and pick up maximum points in this game.

Possible West Ham starting line-ups

Łukasz Fabiański; Nikola Vlasic, Craig Dawson, Issa Diop, Arthur Masuaku; Declan Rice, Tomáš Souček, Pablo Fornals, Jarrod Bowen, Manuel Lanzini; Michail Antonio.

Injured: Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna, Kurt Zouma, Benjamin Johnson, Ryan Fredericks

Suspended: Vladimir Coufal

Norwich City

Dean Smith and his Norwich side will look to pick up their third win of the season when they travel to London this Saturday to play West Ham.

The former Aston Villa boss began his Norwich reign with a win and two draws in three games. But since then, the Canaries have lost their next three games, losing by an aggregate scoreline of 6-0.

Although their last outing against Manchester United saw them trouble the Old Trafford side, they could not get past an inspired David de Gea. Ultimately they lost 1-0 in the game, but they showed that with more luck on their side, they can beat any side in the division.

They will hope that luck will shine on them in this game against a West Ham side who they have not beaten in their last five PL meetings.

Possible Norwich City starting line-ups

Tim Krul; Max Aarons, Ozan Kabak, Ben Gibson, Brandon Williams; Billy Gilmour, Kenny McLean, Jacob Sorensen, Todd Cantwell, Kieran Dowell, Teemu Pukki.

Injured: Andrew Omobamidele, Grant Hanley, Milot Rashica, Christoph Zimmermann.

COVID-19: Lukas Rupp, Josh Sargent, Christos Tzolis

Doubtful: Mathias Normann

Prediction

West Ham 1-1 Norwich
