With their job in the Champions League group stages complete, Inter Milan will look to secure their fourth straight win in Serie A when they take on Sampdoria at the San Siro.
Inter Milan secured their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League in style by beating Viktoria Plzen. The Nerazzurri ran out 4-0 winners against the Czech team, with a brace from Edin Dzeko, Henrikh Mhikitaryan and the returning Romelu Lukaku handing Simone Inzaghi’s side a place in the knockout stages.
The home side will now turn their attention to the domestic league, where they sit two points outside the top four.
Simone Inzaghi’s side endured a rough patch earlier this season, losing three out of four games in Serie A, between early September to early October, which saw them suffer an early setback in the title race.
