Inter Miami owner David Beckham has revealed that he is hoping that his MLS franchise can lure the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to the United States.

The MLS has proven to be an exciting adventure four European players in their twilight years and it will be interesting to see if the likes of Messi and Ronaldo decide to try out American football as well.

The former England international David Beckham has built that MLS club all by himself and the new season kicks off in April.

Former Manchester United player Phil Neville is currently the manager of the club and it will be interesting to see if Inter Miami can attract the top global names in the coming seasons.

David Beckham has previously confirmed that the club will be focused on their Academy and they will try and bring in young players.

However, there is no doubting that top-class players like Ronaldo and Messi would bring in exceptional global appeal and revenue for the animals club.

Beckham also revealed that he is looking forward to signing the right players and not the best players all the time. Apparently, he picked up the trait from his former manager Sir Alex Ferguson who was efficient at choosing the right player for the club.

“I have said from day one that our academy system is a massive part of this club and if we can bring players through here that have lived and breathed Inter Miami then that is the goal,” he said.

“But we also know that being in Miami, our fans want to see the big stars. We already have players like Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi who add to the glitz and glamour but also going forward we want to have the opportunity to bring some great names in.

“Leo and Cristiano have been mentioned (in the question just asked); they have been at the top of their game and been the best for the last 15 years because of hard work. There is very little luck behind it.”
