Europa League favourites Ajax and Arsenal were knocked out of championship this year.

The strongest contenders to fight for their progress in round of 16 are Sevilla and Basel, while Inter Milan are the outright favourites, led by Romelu Lukaku.

Manchester United and Wolves have joined Rangers in the next round from United Kingdom, where as Bayer Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt are there in title contention from Germany.

When and where is the Europa League draw?

The draw for Round-of-16, will take place on Friday, February 28, beginning at 12 noon (GMT). It will be held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Key dates

Pending the draw and any enforced changes, the round of 16 ties are scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 12 (first leg) and Thursday, March 19 (second leg). UEFA will confirm kick-off dates and times shortly after the draw.
