For months now, France international Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain. The World Cup winner has now confirmed that he will finish the season with the French outfit.

The fact that the 23-year-old won’t leave the club during the January transfer window will come as a major boost for PSG, and it will be interesting to see if he can help the French outfit win the UEFA Champions League this season.

Mbappe has confirmed during an interview with CNN that he will give everything to win the Champions League and the league title with the French outfit.

“I will give everything I have to win the Champions League, the league and the cup. And to give all the pleasure to the fans, because they deserve it,” said Mbappé.

The Frenchman is nearing the end of his contract in Paris, and he will be able to move on as a free agent at the end of this season.

Apparently, Real Madrid were keen on signing Mbappe at the start of the season, and they even submitted a bid of around $188 million for the player in August. However, Paris Saint-Germain decided that the offer from Real Madrid was insufficient, and Mbappe ended up staying at the club.

Meanwhile, the Frenchman has also opened up on the experience of playing alongside the Argentine international Lionel Messi, who is widely regarded as the best player of his generation.

Mbappe claims that it is a great pleasure for him to say to his friends and family that he plays alongside Messi, and it is an amazing moment in the history of the game.

He said: “It’s a big pleasure for me to say to my kids, to my friends, I play with him [Messi]. We have to enjoy seeing him in Paris … It’s an amazing moment in the history of the game.”
