Pochettino in contact with Tottenham ace regarding January transfer

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho and he has been linked with a move away from the London club this month.

His former manager Mauricio Pochettino has taken over at Paris Saint Germain and the Argentine is   keen on a reunion with the England international.

According to reports Mauricio Pochettino has been in contact with the 24 year old midfielder regarding a January move to the French club.

With the Euros coming up in the summer, Dele Alli needs to play more often in order to cement his place in the national team and a move to Paris Saint Germain could be ideal for him right now.

The French outfit could use some depth in the midfield and Dele Alli is likely to play more often under Mauricio Pochettino.

The former Tottenham manager was instrumental in Dele Alli’s development and he could help the midfielder regain his confidence and form.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are willing to loan the player out or sell him permanently this month.

Giovani lo Celso is currently out injured and Jose Mourinho might not be keen on weakening his midfield options.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds in the coming days.

Tottenham are still very much in the title race and they could use all the help they can get. If Alli manages to regain his confidence, he could still prove to be a match winner for Tottenham this season.

The midfielder is only 24 and the London club will have to be patient with him and help him regain his sharpness over the coming months.
