Paris Saint-Germain transfer updates: Florenzi signs on loan, Camavinga interest, pulled out of Bellerin pursuit, Guendouzi interest

Italian defender Alessandro Florenzi has signed for PSG after agreeing to a season-long loan move. Les Parisiens have the option to buy him permanently. The AS Roma full-back spent the majority of the last season on at La Liga club Valencia. Tuchel had previously stated he was optimistic about signing the Italian to reinforce the right-back slot.

Thomas Tuchel has revealed PSG’s interest in Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The 17-year-old, who recently debuted for the French national team, is also said to be wanted by la Liga champions Real Madrid.

Tuchel on Camavinga:

“He’s one of the best players in Ligue 1. He’s a great player, very strong, with a great future. But he also plays in a great team which plays in the Champions League. But that’s not how it goes, it’s not Monopoly!

“I’m not going to say not to recruit him, but that’s not how it goes.”

Furthermore, Thomas Tuchel has ruled out a move for Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi. When the German manager was asked about the possibility of Guendouzi joining PSG, he replied there would be no chance.

PSG have had an offer denied by Arsenal for the right-back Hector Bellerin. Gunners have reportedly turned down the loan approach from the Ligue 1 champions. However, PSG have opted to withdraw their interest in the Spaniard after sorting out Florenzi as the alternative.
