The highly-rated Rennes prospect wants to join Paris Saint-Germain.

Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga continues to be one of the hottest prospects, with several top clubs said to be interested in his signature.

According to a new report, the French teenager has told Rennes that he wants to join the fellow Ligue 1 club PSG this summer.

Camavinga was heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid last summer, but Rennes opted to keep him.

Now, the 18-year-old is keen on securing a transfer away from Rennes as he has only a year left in his current deal. The Ligue 1 outfit could also be forced to sell him this summer as they would look to avoid their prized asset leave if he opts against contract extension.

The report of Camavinga wanting a transfer to Les Parisiens comes as a blow for Real Madrid, who have been his long-time admirers. Premier League outfit Arsenal is said to be one of his suitors but could be ruled out of the equation due to his 100m valuation.

Bayern Munich also entered the fray recently, but PSG appear to have won the battle for the midfielder’s signing.

Camavinga’s progress at Rennes has been significant over the last two seasons, which eventually helped earn a call up from the French national team for Nations League. Furthermore, he played a key role behind Rennes’ Champions League qualification last season.

PSG would strike gold if they were to add Camavinga to an already strong midfield, which consists of Marco Verratti, Leandro Paredes, Ander Herrera and Danilo.

Les Parisiens haven’t been among the active sides in the transfer window; however, Camavinga’s acquisition will help them reclaim the Ligue 1 title, which they recently lost to Lille, and also push for the Champions League.
