As per reports, the Reds are frontrunners to sign the midfielder who will be a free agent soon.
Thiago is a world class player when he is fit and he would improve Jurgen Klopp’s side a lot. The Reds need someone like him in their side.
They paid big money for Naby Keita, who is a similar player. But the former Leipzig star has been injured most of the time.

Emile Heskey, the ex-Liverpool striker has claimed that the fans would love to see the Brazilian back at the club.
He said: “Liverpool fans would love Coutinho back”.
Coutinho will be up for grabs this summer after failing to establish himself as a starter at Barcelona. A return to Liverpool could help him rediscover his confidence.
The Brazilian played his best football at Liverpool and a return to his comfort zone could do wonders to his form.
Coutinho is young enough to make a serious impact once again and Klopp should look to bring him in for the right price.
