Performance of Everton loanees – Moise Kean, Jonjoe Kenny, Cenk Tosun

Moise Kean-Paris Saint-Germain

Everton have sent a handful of players on loan over the last two transfer windows and here we take a glimpse at some of the best who have excelled in the month of February.

Moise Kean – Paris Saint-Germain

Moise Kean had a turnaround in his fortunes at the French Capital after what has been called a disappointing spell at the Goodison Park. The Young Italian forward has now become a key member of Mauricio Pochettino’s attack, racking up 13 goals across all competitions out of which 3 of them coming in February. The 20-year-old put on a remarkable display against Barcelona last week, scoring a goal and caused a great threat to the Catalans’ defence in the 4-1 victory. However, there are doubts over his permanent capture as Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti is said to be having different plans for the Italian.

Jonjoe Kenny – Celtic

Jonjoe Kenny has been performing well since he moved to Celtic on loan earlier this month. Although the Hoops are trailing Rangers in the Scottish league by a long distance, it has been a productive February for them. The 23-year -old right-back has racked up an assist and also helped the Hoops defensively. It remains to be seen whether he would continue his journey in Scotland for good or Ancelotti would call him back to the Premier League.

Cenk Tosun – Besiktas

Cenk Tosun’s time at Goodison Park didn’t go well as he would have expected after he pushed down the pecking order from the start of the last season. Eventually, the Turkish striker sealed his loan move to his homeland club Besiktas and he has enjoyed a dream start, scoring twice in his first Super Lig appearance. With Dominic Calvert Lewin looking in good nick this season, it remains to be seen whether Tosun would be called again.
