Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang-Arsenal

Arsenal picked up a thrilling 4-2 win over Leeds United in the Premier League earlier tonight.

Star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a hat trick to secure all three points for the London side.

Arsenal have had a mediocre season so far and Mikel Arteta will be delighted with a morale-boosting win tonight.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can build on this performance and qualify for the Champions League this season.

The win tonight leaves the Gunners in the 10th place with 34 points and Leeds United are now 11th on 32 points.

Arsenal take on Manchester City in their next game and they will be heading into the contest with a lot of confidence after tonight’s performance.

Aubameyang gave his side the lead on the 13th minute after cutting in from the left side and firing a low effort beyond Meslier. The Arsenal star doubled his team’s advantage on the 41st minute from the penalty spot after the Leeds goalkeeper had fouled Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal went 3-0 up at the stroke of half time when Hector Bellerin beat Meslier at his near post.

The Gabon international completed his hat trick two minutes after the restart with a fine header.

Leeds United managed to reduce the deficit on the 58th minute with a header from Pascal Struijk and Helder Costa added a second on the 69th minute to give the away side a glimmer of hope.

Arsenal could have easily scored more goals but the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang managed to hit the post later on in the game.
