Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard

Carlo Ancelotti was confirmed as the manager of Real Madrid earlier this week, and the Italian has now thrown a lifeline to the likes of Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard.

Bale was on loan at Tottenham Hotspur this past season after falling down the pecking order under Zinedine Zidane, but it seems that Ancelotti is willing to give the Welsh international another chance at Santiago Bernabeu.

The winger had a very positive loan spell at Tottenham, and he could be a key member of the side next year.

Ancelotti has confirmed that he has a lot of love for Gareth Bale, and he could be an important player for the club next season.

He said: “I have a lot of love still for Gareth Bale, Isco, Marcelo… they will have the motivation to show they can still play for Real Madrid”.

Meanwhile, the Italian has claimed that Eden Hazard is a top player who will show his skills at Real Madrid.

The Belgian has struggled to live up to the expectations since his big-money move from Chelsea, and his career at Real Madrid has been plagued with injuries.

It will be interesting to see if Ancelotti can help him rediscover his peak form next year.

Ancelotti added: “Eden Hazard? He’s a top player, he’ll show his skills. Hazard and Bale can be so important for us”.

Sergio Ramos

Furthermore, the newly appointed Real Madrid manager has given his take on the future of club captain Sergio Ramos.

He has revealed that he will speak to the club about the Spanish international in the next few days. The experienced defender is nearing the end of his contract at Santiago Bernabeu, and he’s yet to agree on an extension with the club.

He said: “I’ve just arrived, have to talk about Ramos with the club in the next few days”.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Finally, Ancelotti refused to add to the speculations surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo‘s return to Real Madrid this summer.

The Portuguese international has been linked with the return, but the Italian manager has revealed that he has a great relationship with Ronaldo, but it’s not correct to talk about his future because he’s under contract with Juventus right now.

He said: “I’ve a great relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, I love him… but it’s not correct to talk about Cristiano as he’s under contract with Juventus”.
