The newly-appointed manager is dreaming of Messi-Aguero partnership at Parc Des Princes.

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly eyeing for a dream partnership of Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero at Parc Des Princes.

Messi continues to be a top target for Les Parisiens, with his contract at Barcelona expiring this summer. But they would face stiff competition from Premier League giants Manchester City, who are also understood to be monitoring the situation of the 33-year-old as they previously attempted to sign him in the last summer.

However, Pochettino wants Man City striker Kun Aguero, the player he got used to often in the Premier League, alongside Messi in a dream attacking partnership.

Furthermore, the newly appointed PSG gaffer is said to be working on a reunion of Messi and Neymar like at Barcelona years ago. Neymar has previously stated his dream of playing alongside the six-rime Ballon d’Or winner for one more time in his career.

The report also adds that it could be done at the expense of PSG ace Kylian Mbappe, who has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Madrid are planning to bring the French World Cup winner as their marquee signing before the end of 2022 notwithstanding his sumptuous transfer fee.

Mbappe’s contract with the Ligue 1 Champions will run out in the summer of 2022 and he had handed in a transfer request earlier this season.

Madrid centre-back Sergio Ramos, whose contract expires this summer, could also enter “operation Mbappe” as the Spaniard is wanted by PSG.
