Ronaldo reckons Real Madrid made a mistake letting Chelsea and PSG target, Achraf Hakimi leave

Inter Milan defender Achraf Hakimi is a man in demand this summer, and the likes of Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea are thought to be vying for his services.

The 22-year-old Moroccan was outstanding in the Italian league this past season, and he helped Antonio Conte S side win the Scudetto after 11 years.

The Italian outfit are currently under financial pressure, and they will have to cash in on their prized prospect in order to ease their economic situation.

He is valued at around €80 million, and it will be interesting to see if the likes of PSG and Chelsea are prepared to pay that much for his services.

The young defender is one of the best in his position, and he is exceptional going forward.

Thomas Tuchel likes to play wing-backs in his system at Chelsea, and a signing like Hakimi could improve his squad immensely.

The Moroccan will add goals and assists to the side alongside his defensive contributions.

As far as Paris Saint Germain are concerned, the French outfit have a few weaknesses in their squad, and a right-back is certainly one of them.

It will be interesting to see if they can sort out a major weakness by signing Hakimi this summer.

PSG will be hoping to challenge for the Champions League once again, and players like Hakimi could certainly help them go all the way next year.

According to the former Real Madrid and Inter Milan striker Ronaldo, it was a mistake for the Spanish giants to let the Moroccan leave.

Ronaldo also revealed, but sometimes he wishes he played with a player like Hakimi.

“Sometimes I think: ‘Ronnie, imagine you and him,'” the Brazil legend told the Gazzetta. “We would go at a decent speed!

“Inter signed an extraordinary player in Hakimi. It was a mistake for Real Madrid to let him go.”
