Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly open to selling the Brazilian international forward Neymar this summer.

According to a report from ESPN, the 30-year-old will be available for the right price.

The French outfit signed the attacker for a fee of around £200 million back in 2017, but he has not been able to help them win the Champions League so far.

Furthermore, his time at the Ligue 1 club has been plagued with recurrent injuries.

Neymar is unlikely to get any better at this age, and PSG are looking to cash in on him before his resale value plummets.

The Brazilian international is a world-class player, and he could be a quality short term acquisition for any club across the world. It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

Neymar has been linked with the return to Barcelona for years now, but the Spanish giants are going through a financial crisis, and they might not be able to afford him this summer.

PSG are unlikely to be able to recoup the world-record fee they paid for the former Barcelona star, and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to accept a knockdown price for Neymar.

The Brazilian has three years left on his current contract with the French club, and he is keen to stay beyond this season.

However, the French champions are looking to generate transfer funds in order to overhaul their squad, and Neymar’s departure would certainly boost their transfer coffers.

Furthermore, the Brazilian earns around €35m per season, and his departure will massively free up the wage bill.

PSG have recently agreed on a massive contract with Kylian Mbappe, and it is no surprise that they are looking to reduce the wage bill this summer.
