Leicester City crashed to a surprise defeat at home to Everton earlier tonight.

Richarlison gave the away side their lead on the 21st minute and Everton seemed dominant from start to finish.

Mason Holgate scored the second goal of the game for Everton on the 72nd minute to wrap up all three points in a 2-0 win.

The Toffees made an impressive start to the Premier League season but their recent form has been quite inconsistent.

Carlo Ancelotti will be very impressed with his team’s performance tonight in a tricky away game.

Leicester City are a very good team who have done well this season and they are being tipped as the outsiders in the title race.

The home side were favourites heading into this game but Everton have managed to pull off a morale boosting win here.

Everton put on a clinical display against Leicester City tonight. They were sharp in the attack and managed to convert their chances. The Toffees were well organised at the back and they managed to keep a very impressive Leicester City attack in check as well.

The win tonight takes Everton up to 5th in the Premier League table with 23 points and Lester city are above them with 24 points after tonight’s defeat.

Brendan Rodgers will be disappointed with his side’s showing tonight and he will demand a positive reaction from the players next time out.
