Barcelona's Luis Suarez is all set to join Juventus and he called up Giorgio Chiellini in order to clear the air between the two players.

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is all set to join Juventus this summer and according to reports the player has now called up Giorgio Chiellini in order to clear the air between the two players.

The two players clashed during the 2014 World Cup and Suarez appeared to bite the Italian defender on the shoulder.

Although the striker wasn’t banned on the day, he had to serve a four month suspension from football later on.

After the game Suarezadmitted that he made a mistake and the Italian defender also seemed like he had moved on from the incident.

It will be interesting to see how the two players get on as team mates now.

Chiellini is the captain of Juventus and it remains to be seen whether the defender is welcoming  of the Uruguayan this summer.

Apparently Suarez will join Juventus in a £ 4.4 million deal this summer and the player will earn around £9 million per year after tax.

New Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman is looking rebuild his side and he’s prepared to sacrifice older players like Suarez this summer.

Suarez has been a star for every club he has joined and it will be interesting to see if he can make his mark in Italian football now.

An unselfish player like him should help the likes of Ronaldo and Dybala thrive next season.

Apart from goals, Suarez is an elite creator as well and he could be a hugely important player for the Italian giants next season. 

His winning experience will be vital to their quest of winning the Champions League as well.
