Juventus picked up a 4-1 win over Torino in Serie A earlier.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Juan Cuadrado helped the Italian champions extend their lead at the top of the table.

Maurizio Sarri’s men are now one step closer to retaining their domestic crown. Juventus have now won seven in a row and they are seven points clear at the top.

Paulo Dybala scored the opening goal for his side on the 3rd minute and Juan Cuadrado doubled Juventus’ advantage on the 29th minute.

Andrea Belotti scored for Torino just before halftime but the two goal lead was restored as Ronaldo slammed in a fantastic free kick around the hour mark. It was his first free kick goal in Italian football.

Cristiano Ronaldo became first player for Juventus since 1961 to score 25 Serie A goals in a season, when he finally score a goal from free kick after 43 attempts.

It will be interesting to see if they can continue this rampant form till the end of the season now. Lazio are still in the race but it seems unlikely that they will be able to close the gap.

It would take a monumental collapse from the Italian champions.

Lazio were breathing down Juventus’ necks when Serie A restarted. However, the champions have now pulled clear with a series of wins. On the other hand, Lazio have dropped points in games they should have won.

Sarri will be hoping to secure his first title with Juventus this summer. Meanwhile, the defeat leaves Torino 13th in the table with 31 points.
