Three potential destinations for Cristiano Ronaldo

Three clubs which Ronaldo would join should he leave Juventus.

Juventus are reportedly looking to part ways with Cristiano Ronaldo after finding his current wages too expensive amid the financial crisis caused by the pandemic.

The Portuguese star earns exactly around 28m pounds a year, which is five times higher than the second-most expensive player Paulo Dybala’s salary.

Ronaldo’s exit links could have also excited some top clubs but PSG, Manchester United and Real Madrid remain the potential suitors.

Manchester United have reportedly made a formal offer to sign back their former star and a return to Premier League at the age of 35 wouldn’t be the one he wants.

Real Madrid has been deemed as another option after they are open for his return in two years meanwhile PSG are looking like the favourites to sign Ronaldo once he leaves Turin.

Paris St-Germain are ready to go all out for the Portuguese ace, with their Sporting director Leanardo confirming the interest.

The Portuguese skipper, regardless, has been excellent on the pitch for Juve since joining them, racking up more than 20 goals in back to back seasons. In the ongoing season, Ronaldo has managed to score 6 goals in 4 appearances. Last season, he was close to beating Ciro Immobile in the race for Golden Boot before ending up second behind the Italian striker in the end.

Ronaldo hasn’t shown any decline in recent years and can excel at whatever club he chooses. Moving to PSG would be a new venture in Europe’s top leagues and Les Parisiens are the only club that could meet Ronaldo’s wage demands.
