Chelsea register a comfortable 4-0 win over Krasnodar, after Hudson-Odoi opener

Chelsea picked up a 4-0 win over Krasnodar in the Champions League.

Callum Hudson-Odoi scored the opening goal of the game for the Blues on the 37th minute.

Chelsea doubled their advantage on the 76th minute through Timo Werner who converted from the spot.

The German did well to set up Hakim Ziyech for Chelsea’s third goal on the 79th minute.

Christian Pulisic wrapped up the scoring in added time to secure all three points for Chelsea.

Frank Lampard will be delighted with his team’s performance tonight and Chelsea will be hoping to build on this and put together a winning run now.

The Blues were held to a draw in their opening group game and they needed to win tonight.

Chelsea will be hoping to qualify for the knockout rounds of the competition as soon as possible. They are on top of the group standings right now with four points from two games.

The Blues dominated the game from start to finish. they were the favourites heading into the game and the fans would have expected nothing less.

As for Krasnodar, they were expected to lose here but they would have wanted to perform better then they have. they drew their opening game of the group stages and they will be hoping to pick up more points along the way and make it out of the groups.
