Liverpool are thought to be interested in signing the Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
The 25-year-old joined Aston Villa from Brentford at the start of the season and he has proven to be a major hit at Villa Park.
The England international has managed to score 12 goals in the Premier League so far and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Liverpool attack next season.
The likes of Firmino and Origi have been in abysmal form over the past year and Liverpool must look to sign a quality striker before the start of the next season.
Watkins has proven his quality in the Premier League this season and he is quite young. He could prove to be a quality long term investment for the Premier League Giants.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can come to an agreement with Aston Villa regarding their star striker this summer.
Villa are under no pressure to sell the player having signed him just a year ago and Liverpool might have to pay a huge sum of money to convince them.

Klopp has revealed that he has no such plans and he is looking to guide the club through the tough situation and he will look to sort out the problem, they are currently in.
Liverpool have faced huge backlash because of their decision to join the breakaway tournament and Jurgen Klopp’s admission that he will stick to the club during this tough period will come as a major boost to the fans and the players.
He said: “I heard today that I would resign or whatever. When the times get even tougher, that makes me more that I’ll stay here. I feel responsible for the team, I feel responsible for the club and I feel responsible for the relationship with the supporters. That’s why. It’s a very tough time, I’m sure, but I will try to sort it somehow.”
