Barcelona are looking to sign the Leicester City defender Caglar Soyuncu this summer.
As per reports, the Spanish giants are looking to offer around €40m for the defender.
Soyuncu has been a star for Leicester City this season and he could prove to be a good addition to Barcelona’s defence. He is a good reader of the game and he can play out of the back.
Barcelona’s passing football needs someone with composure and good passing skills at the back and Soyuncu has the tools to succeed there.
It will be interesting to see if the Spanish giants can agree on a fee with the Premier League club now.
Leicester will not want to sell their best centre back this summer. Soyuncu is quite young and he is yet to fulfil his potential. The Foxes will know that they can get a lot more for the player if they can develop in for a couple of years.
It remains to be seen how the player reacts to the interest if a concrete offer is submitted.
Barcelona are one of the best clubs in the world and his head could easily be turned.
The Spanish outfit need to bring in someone who can replace Pique in the long run and Soyuncu certainly has the talent.
He has already proven himself in the Premier League and he could be ready to perform in the Spanish league as well.
