Juventus sacked Maurizio Sarri, as Juve crashed out of Champions League

End of Sarri in Juventus - Italian Media discussing possible replacements

Juventus have sacked manager Maurizio Sarri after his team crashed out of the Champions League last night.

The Italian giants were beaten by French side Lyon and they will be thoroughly disappointed with their performance.

Juventus have won the Scudetto this year and they would have wanted to do well in the European competitions as well. Having signed players like Cristiano Ronaldo the Italian Giants would have been one of the favourites to win the competition this year.

It has been a mediocre season for Juventus despite winning the Italian title.
They have been Inconsistent and vulnerable all season. The Italian giants were beaten in the Coppa Italia final as well.

It will be interesting to see who comes in to replace Sarri next season.

After three seasons with Napoli, Sarri could not last more than a season in last of his two jobs, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up next.

Antonio Conte’s future at Inter Milan is in doubt and it will be interesting to see if Juventus decide to bring him back to the club. Conte won a lot of trophies with Juventus and he might be keen on a return as well.

Another former manager Allegri is available as well this summer.

Alternatively Pochettino could be another option for Juventus this summer.
The former Tottenham boss is out of a job and he has been linked with some of the top clubs in Europe already. Pochettino did a great job at Tottenham to rebuild the club and he could do the same at Juventus.

The Italians have been lacking in identity this year and Pochettino’s attacking brand of football could breathe life back into the side next year.
