Leeds United star Raphinha picked Barcelona over Chelsea 

Leeds United star Raphinha is joining Barcelona this summer.

The Brazilian Winger is valued at £55 million ($77m), with a further £10 million potentially coming as add-ons. Chelsea reportedly bid on the Brazilian international but failed to convince him. It was clear that his desire was for Barca.

The contract will run until 2027, and he is expected to undergo his medical and sign his Barcelona contract. After this contract, Raphinha will now earn double of his earnings in Leeds United, according to Goal. 

The 25-year-old is now ready to impress La Liga. 

Raphinha ended the season as Leeds’ top goalscorer with 11 goals, including the first goal of the game in the 2–1 away win against Brentford on the last day of the season. He was nominated as one of the Premier League’s Goals of the Month for August.

Meanwhile, the clock is still ticking for Chelsea. Although they have missed out on an important target, there is still so much to see before the summer ends.
