Real Madrid unhappy with James Rodriguez’s flying start at Everton

Carlo Ancelotti reveals why he is obsessed with James Rodriguez

The Colombian midfielder has been a revelation in the Premier League this season.

James Rodriguez‘s impressive start to life in the Premier League hasn’t gone well with Real Madrid.

According to reports, Madrid are unhappy with Zinedine Zidane’s way of handling the players, one of the key reasons for James’ free transfer to Everton in the summer.

The 29-year-old has already racked up three goals and assists apiece in five league games so far, helping the Toffees maintain a perfect start.

James had previously vented his frustrations on going out of favour under Zidane during his torrid spell at Bernabeu. However, the decision to reunite with his former boss Carlo Ancelotti at Goodison Park might well be the best of his career.

Dani Ceballos and Gareth Bale are some of the other stars who have suffered the same fate at Madrid like James. Ceballos, who is currently on loan at Arsenal, looks a revived figure now while Tottenham have provided the escape route for Bale.

Bale has been signed by his former boss Jose Mourinho on loan after spending his time at the fringes in the last few seasons at Madrid. The Welshman also revealed that the La Liga champions prevented his exit last summer.

Madrid hierarchy are disappointed with their former players becoming a success at different clubs and they consider it is Zidane’s mistake to blame.

Despite Zidane being the most successful manager in Los Blancos’ history, his treatment towards the world-class players like Bale and James begs a lot of questions.
