Arsenal Transfer Transfers: Lautaro Martinez and Moussa Diaby linked with moves

Arsenal to fight Dortmund for Bayer's Moussa Diaby

Arsenal eyeing Martinez

Arsenal are interested in signing the Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

The 24-year-old has been an exceptional servant for Inter Milan over the past two seasons and he could be the ideal replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has joined Barcelona earlier this season.

Arsenal are in desperate need of reinforcements in the final third and they are likely to lose Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah at the end of the season.

It is imperative that Mikel Arteta brings in top-class strikers this summer and Lautaro Martinez would certainly be an exceptional acquisition.

However, the player’s agent has informed Goal.com that the Argentine is not thinking about a move right now and it will be interesting to see whether the Gunners can convince him to move to the Premier League this summer.

His agent said: “We are not depending on a transfer, he is at Inter, he is happy, the city is wonderful. Sometimes the press publishes things about a transfer but Lautaro is thinking about Inter, giving the people of Inter joy, becoming champions and working for the World Cup.”

Martinez is still quite young and there is a lot of room for development. The Argentine international could develop into a world-class player in the future.

Moussa Diaby linked with a summer move

Meanwhile, the Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby is on Arsenal’s summer transfer radar as well.

According to a report, the Gunners are looking to add more pace and flair in the wide areas and they have identified the 22-year-old Frenchman as a potential target.

The chance to join a club like Arsenal is likely to be a tempting proposition for the French winger and it’ll be interesting to see whether the Premier League side can agree on a fee with Leverkusen now.
