Chelsea sort out four alternatives for under fire Frank Lampard

Frank Lampard

Lampard is said to be at the risk of losing his job after leading Chelsea to a string of poor results.

Frank Lampard is under more pressure than ever due to Chelsea‘s poor run of form lately, culminating in the 3-1 defeat against Manchester City.

According to reports, the Blues have identified four managers namely Thomas Tuchel, Massimiliano Allegri, Brendan Rodgers and Ralph Hassehutl as possible replacements for Lampard should he get the sack.

Thomas Tuchel

Tuchel was fired by PSG recently and the French giants replaced him with Mauricio Pochettino.

The former Dortmund manager is also reportedly interested in joining hands with his German counterparts Antonio Rudiger, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.

Massimiliano Allegri

Allegri has been in the lookout for a new club since leaving Juventus at the end of 18/19 season. The Italian gaffer was previously linked with a move to the Premier League.

Brendan Rodgers

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers is amongst the candidates and he would be a good option given his past ties with the club. The former Celtic manager’s impact is manifest as Foxes are challenging for the Premier League title this season.

Ralph Hassehutl

Hassenhutl is another manager from the English top-flight being considered by the Blues as he has been impressive this season, leading Southampton to a host of impressive wins including their recent one against Liverpool.

The Londoners are said to be not considering sacking Lampard with immediate effect however further defeats can change the scenario.

Chelsea are currently ninth in the table after being winless in the last three games.
