Bailey has caught the attention of the North London club.

Tottenham have identified their next target, which turns out to be Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey.

According to reports, Spurs have their eyes on Bailey, who is keen on moving to the Premier League.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton are also understood to be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, who has been regular for Leverkusen since joining them in 2017.

The Jamaican international’s impressive full-debut season saw him getting linked with a move to Bayern Munich in 2018, but the deal was to no avail.

Chelsea were linked in the past for Bailey while Manchester City have followed him for a while now.

The Citizens were interested in signing the former Genk star as a replacement for Leroy Sane before they opted to sign Ferran Torres.

Bailey, who has become injury-prone of late, has a contract with Leverkusen until 2023 and Tottenham will be required to pay around 40m pounds for his services.

Spurs are also in the market for attacking reinforcements but it remains to be seen whether they can afford such a higher fee.

Jose Mourinho has been reportedly keen on signing Gareth Bale but Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunners for the Welshman.

Spurs were off to a sluggish start in the Premier League, suffering a 1-0 defeat against Everton at home. Jose Mourinho was unhappy with the result and especially the way Spurs played.

The Portuguese gaffer is said to be in the lookout for a new striker, who can be the deputy for Harry Kane.
