Erling Haaland bags a hat-trick in Nations League game against Romania

Erling Haaland-Norway

The Dortmund striker has bagged a hat-trick in the 4-0 win against Romania.

Erling Haaland bagged a hat-trick in Norway’s 4-0 win against Romania.

Norway played against Romania after losing out their Euro Qualifiers game against Serbia.

Haaland, who failed to score against Serbia, came up with a blistering hat-trick against Romania in Nations League.

The Dortmund ace scored the first goal with a brilliant left-footed finish as he latched on to the through ball by Martin Odegaard.

With Alexander Sorloth scoring the second goal, Haaland completed his hat-trick in the second half.

The second goal was once again assisted by Odegaard as Haaland found himself in a good goal-scoring position.

The third one takes the cake as the 20-year-old found the nets with a blistering strike, a goal similar to the one he scored in his last Bundesliga game. In fact, the trio of Haaland, Sorloth and Odegaard gave a tough time for the Romanian defenders.

Haaland is perhaps the hottest striker in Europe at the moment, having been in excellent goal-scoring form in the last two years.

He has already five goals to his name for Dortmund this season while the hat-trick against Romania marked his first in the international career.

Haaland is currently a goal behind Robert Lewandoski in the Bundesliga scoring charts and the Norwegian is expected to give a tough fight for the Bayern Munich striker.

The Norwegian’s value increases with each impressive game and Real Madrid would be taking note of his performances as they are one of the clubs interested in recruiting him next summer.
