Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, and Paulo Dybala are all back in the Argentina team for the matches vs. Brazil and Uruguay. There are notable omissions too. Angel Di Maria, Mauro Icardi, Gonzalo Higuaín, Erik Lamela and Éver Banega could not find a place in the team.
Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni has given out his list for the November friendly matches as the two superstar veterans return. Both have not been in the Argentina team since the Copa America. Messi and Sergio Aguero were both included in the squad announced by Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni on Thursday for matches against Brazil in Saudi Arabia and three days later against Uruguay in Israel.
Lionel Messi is back in the Argentina team for friendlies against Brazil and Uruguay in November, after serving a three-month ban. Messi is available after a three-month ban imposed by South American soccer body CONMEBOL after he made accusations of corruption following the Copa America tournament in Brazil in July.
The 1978 and 1986 world champions have friendlies against their south American rivals Brazil and Uruguay, the former on November 15 at King Saud University Stadium, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, pitting him against Barça team-mate Arthur.
Three days later, at the Bloomfield Stadium, Tel Aviv, Israel, on November 18, Barça take on another fellow South American side in Uruguay, featuring (if selected) another club colleague in Luis Suárez.
In addition to Messi and Aguero, a host of other players made either return to or find a place in the team and there are few new faces in goal, as Franco Armani, Sergio Romero and Willy Caballero could not find a place.
