Perth Glory

Perth Glory will look to make it two wins in two league games when they host Macarthur FC on Wednesday night.

The hosts come into the tie on the back of a 2-0 victory over Brisbane Roar on Sunday, courtesy of a Bruno Fornaroli’s brace.

The win ended a two-game winless run (D1, L1) for Perth Glory and also kept them off the foot of the table on goal difference given that they are level on points with Brisbane Roar, Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners.

After suffering inconsistent results, Richard Garcia will be hoping that his side can get a good result here to keep their push for a place in the top six places alive.

Possible Perth Glory starting line-up

Liam Reddy; Jack Clisby, Darryl Lachman, Jonathan Aspropotamitis, Antonee Burke-Gilroy; Osama Malik, Brandon O’Neill, Antonee Gilroy; Andy Keogh, Bruno Fornaroli, Adrian Sardinero.

Injured: Luke Bodnar, Brad Jones

Macarthur FC

Meanwhile, Macarthur also secured maximum points in their last outing as they came from behind to beat Adelaide United on home turf.

Adelaide were the team to score first through Craig Goodwin in the 20th minute of the game. But Apostolos Giannou equalised in the dying moments of the first half for the Bulls to keep the scores level.

The hosts then sealed a comfortable 4-1 win in the second half, with Craig Noone, Al-Hassan Toure and substitute Michael Ruhs all scoring to complete the rout.

The victory helped the Bulls climb to the fifth spot in the table, having garnered 18 points from 11 matches.

They will look to continue their upward trajectory with a win here. Given that they are level on points with seventh-placed Wellington Phoenix, they will drop out of the top six if they do not win this game.
