The hosts got their third win of the season when they defeated Macarthur FC in their last outing. In an end-to-end game at the Campbelltown Stadium in Sydney, Ufuk Talay’s side took an early lead through Reno Piscopo, who scored from the penalty spot. 

The Bulls equalised in the 58th minute through Ulises Davila, but a quick brace by Jaushua Sotirio ensured the hosts got all three points.

The win was their second win on the bounce and ensured that they came into this tie sitting in seventh place. They are currently trailing sixth-placed Macarthur FC by four points. 

With the season still a long way ahead, they will know that they have a lot of time to make up for lost grounds. However, they will be desperate to pick up maximum points from this tie and keep their quest for a top-six finish alive.
