Borussia Dortmund are looking to sign the RB Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi at the end of this season.

According to a report from Sky Sports Germany, the two clubs have now begun concrete negotiations to sign the highly talented attacker who has scored 14 goals this season.

The youngster is regarded as a world-class talent, and he could prove to be an exceptional long term acquisition for Dortmund.

The Bundesliga club are expected to lose Erling Haaland this summer, and Adeyemi could be the ideal replacement for the Norwegian international.

RB Salzburg are demanding a fee of around 30 to 40 million Euros for the youngster, and it remains to be seen whether Dortmund are willing to shell out that kind of money to secure his services.

In theory, finances should not be a problem for the German club, especially when they are set to rake in a premium fee for Haaland at the end of this season.

The report further states that the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig are keen on signing the player as well, but Dortmund are the clear favourites in the race right now.

Apparently, the player has already made up his mind, and he wants to join Dortmund at the end of this season. The youngster is yet to reach his peak, and he will improve further with experience and coaching. There is no doubt that he has the potential to develop into a superstar in the future.

Dortmund have snapped up several world-class talents in recent seasons, and signing Adeyemi would be another feather in their impressive transfer cap.
